Garnet

While red garnet is the most commonly associated color with the name, they also come in a variety of colors such as greens, oranges, pinkish oranges, deeply saturated purplish reds, and even some blues. Some garnet even have a color change characteristic! The green garnet called, Tsavorite, is rarer due to the necessary rock chemistry it needs in order to form.
